I shot it somewhere during a business trip. Perhaps somewhere near the mountains… I don’t remember.
Jak tylko zobaczyłem z naszego samochodu tego pana i kurę, wiedziałem że “muszę to mieć”. Być może dla kogoś to będzie zwykłe zdjęcie, ale dla mnie jest oazą spokoju. Świadectwem czasu i jego końca dla poszczególnych jednostek. Przywiązania do miejsca ale i przeogromnej chęci bycia bliżej ludzi a przynajmniej otaczającego świata, który jest poza chałupą.
As soon as I saw this man and his chicken from our car, I knew that “I had to have it”. Maybe for someone it will be just an ordinary photo, but for me, it is an oasis of peace. A testimony of time and its end for individual units. Attachment to the place, but also an enormous desire to be closer to people, or at least to the surrounding world that is beyond the cottage.
