The body shape and sunlight are the „rulers” of these photos. The emphasis on the lines with sunlight, contrasted with the sky and sand, creates fantastic shapes that have nothing to do with erotica. In my opinion, classical sculptures are more erotic.

The first photo, which reminds me a bit of a worshipper of the god Ra (well, that’s my association), has a lot of symmetry broken slightly by sand waves and a band of clouds. The symmetry is emphasized by the central placement of the sun and the „main” flare running vertically down the center of the frame.

The second photo looks like a U-boat to me 🙂 Here, the body was distorted into the shape of a submarine using a wide-angle lens.

I took these photos on the outskirts of Warsaw, on a sand dump near the Vistula River. I used the first digital Pentax istD and an excellent analog lens of the same company, 15mm f3.5.
